Drinks and a Movie. High concept, not high art.
Use real lemon juice because life is sour and sometimes sweet at the same time.

The Drink: Traditional Sidecar
• ¾ oz. brandy
• ¾ oz. curacao
• ¾ oz. lemon juice
Shake well with ice. Strain into pre-chilled cocktail glass. All three ingredients may be varied to suit one’s taste. Don’t use the lemon juice out of the plastic lemon juice squeezy thing, it’s gross and your sidecar will taste like it was made at Wendy’s. For a strong brandy accent use 1 ½ ozs. brandy ½ oz curacao and ½ oz. lemon juice. For something sweeter, transpose the lemon juice and brandy doses. We start our blog with this pair of classics.
